Soros Groups Fight to Keep Criminal Illegals in the U.S.
Soros-backed groups are suing to stop Trump’s deportation of illegal alien gang members, prioritizing criminal aliens over American safety. Here’s how their legal battles affect you.

What Happened?
A coalition of left-wing legal groups, backed by organizations that are linked to billionaire George Soros, is suing to block the deportation of alleged illegal alien gang members under the Alien Enemies Act.
The lawsuit, led by Democracy Forward and the ACLU, has argued that the Trump administration ultimately lacks the authority to remove the individuals in question. This is regardless of their alleged ties to violent criminal organizations. The legal battle in question is centered on five individuals currently in ICE custody.
While a federal judge issued a last-minute order to halt the deportations, by the time the ruling came down, the flights in question had already landed in El Salvador. Now, activist groups are pushing to ensure future deportations of criminal aliens are stopped before they happen.
Why It Matters
Although the legal battle is focused on a particular five individuals, it has much broader implications. It reveals a consistent pattern of left-leaning legal groups fighting harder for criminal illegals than for the safety of their fellow American citizens. These Soros-funded groups are attempting to frame deportation efforts as 'inhumane,' ignoring the very real consequences of allowing violent gang members to stay in the United States.
Organizations like the Center for American Progress and the National Immigration Law Center — both of which receive funding from Soros-backed entities — have long opposed stricter immigration enforcement. Their lawsuits and lobbying efforts have helped turn sanctuary cities into crime-ridden havens where illegal aliens, including violent offenders, are shielded from deportation.
In the meantime, American families continue to pay the price. Cities such as New York, Chicago, and Denver which limit ICE cooperation, have seen spikes in violent crime that are directly tied to gang activity. The same groups now fighting to stop Trump’s deportation orders have repeatedly opposed measures to crack down on MS-13 and other transnational gangs.
How It Affects You
When activist lawyers block the deportation of criminal illegals, they aren't merely playing political games. They're putting American lives at risk. Every time a violent offender is released instead of deported, the chances of another innocent American becoming a victim increase.
This isn't just mere speculation. Cities that refuse to work with ICE see more repeat offenders, as criminals who should have been deported are instead set free to commit more crimes. Law-abiding citizens — not elite activists — are the ones who suffer the consequences.
Beyond the immediate safety risks for Americans, these ongoing legal battles also have financial consequences. American taxpayers are the ones footing the bill for housing, medical care, and legal representation for the alleged illegal criminals. All the while, many of these activists are also/have also pushed for policies that defund law enforcement.
These legal battles are indicative of growing discontent with the Democratic Party and its supporters. These groups have chosen to side with illegal alien criminals over law-abiding Americans, using the courts to weaken national security and undermine the rule of law. If these activist groups get their way, more violent criminals will be allowed to stay in the country, putting every American at greater risk.
